When the house is abuzz with chatter
And all the faces are aglow with happiness
Spring is in the air!
When all my dear ones are close to me
And my heart melts like sheer butter
Spring is in the air!
When there is freshness in the breeze
And the morning dew is a blessing
When flowers bloom and love blossoms
Spring is in the air!
When Birds tweet together
And the Earth wakes up from her slumber
When she begins to hum softly
And then renders a glorious song
Spring is in the air!
When the cold bones feel liberated
And the sunshine acts like a balm
When there is re-awakening and re-birth
Spring is in the air!

Beautifully put, Harshi..the last verse is just perfect:

When there is re-awakening and re-birth
Spring is in the air!” π¦

A gorgeous poem, Harshi. I especially like the last stanza,
‘When the cold bones feel liberated
And the sunshine acts like a balm
When there is re-awakening and re-birth
Spring is in the air!
As I stepped outside my front door to go into town this morning, there in the grass were my first flowers of the year – lilac and purple crocuses. They weren’t there yesterday, so they must have popped up almost overnight. Seeing crocuses in my garden is usually the first sign of Spring for me. It’s only February, so they are early this year. I think that bodes well for a lovely Spring and Summer.
How are you, dear friend? Xx π·π

Dear Harshi. Thank you for such kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed my description of my first spring flowers. We have had snow here the last couple of days. The crocuses have finished now; hopefully, when the snow melts and the weather gets a little warmer, the bright yellow heads of the daffodils will be blowing in the breeze.
I’m so glad you are well – it’s been a while since you wrote here. I am pleased to see you back. I am well, thank you, my friend. I’m in a much better place than I was last Christmas and New Year. I am grateful for that. Xx πππΌπ.
