June wrap-up!
Greetings from Reflections!
Hello my blogger friends! How have you all been? No no, not for a moment entertain the notion that I’ve bolted! I enjoy my space here and interacting with you all. The truth is, that I returned from my vacation and was swamped with work. I did manage a few posts but they were nothing compared to the flurry at the beginning of the month.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve completed writing 100 posts on WordPress. The journey which started with a single post last June, transcended into something marvellous! Not only have I found the joy of writing and sharing my works with my blogger community; it’s also been an expedition of self -discovery and along the way I’ve made some precious friends and met interesting travellers!
June has also been a period of reading and reflection. Here are a few book reviews which I penned – The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway, Em and the big Hoom! by Jerry Pinto and Broken! which is actually a poem inspired by my reading of The Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller.
Summer Break and Full Circle are posts about family bonding and commemorating my one year of writing at WordPress, respectively.
What does the windΒ blow? warrants a special mention as it was instantly re-blogged by two fellow -bloggers! Aparna and Dawn, thank you so much! This poem which resonated with so many readers was inspired by Dawn’s collection – Poems about Wind.
The other poems published at Reflections were :
The Shade, Obdurate!, A foe or aΒ friend? and Contentment! The themes showcased in these poems were – Solace, self-respect and fighting against all odds, Death as a friend and the feeling of being content, respectively.
I treasure the love you all pour over in your comments. They exhilarate me and help me to keep spinning the wheel of words to create more stories, poems, reviews and anecdotes.
May you all, keep smiling, shining and creating…..
Thatβs all folks!
Love, Harshi

I am so glad you are still here, dear Harshi. Many congratulations on achieving 100 posts in such a short space of time. That’s quite remarkable. You have done so well. I’ve enjoyed and appreciated all that you have written. (I’ve been blogging with WordPress for more than eight years and have only achieved about 400 posts in that time. Having said that, I did take three years out away from my blog). And what a beautiful last line you have used, ‘May you all, keep smiling, shining and creatingβ¦..’ I hope that you have continued success with all your future work. My love to you, my friend.
